Say I only cared about phone as modem, specifically 5G RF performance on the three networks.

      Not processors, cameras etc.

Any reason to spend more on ultra + etc or is the base model enough?

IMHO, the battery capacity of the higher end units make it more desirable. I use the S21 (base model) and it has a better battery than the S22 (base model). I charge my phone about every 2-3 days with moderate usage.

Does Visible run on VZ? AT&T and T-mo work better here. AT&T is 5 bars signal strength.

Yeah. I’m in the same boat. I want to keep UMB but it only goes onto 3G for me. I might have to finally give it up. Unless somebody smarter than me can get it to work on lte or 5g
