I only rarely do download or streaming with the Koobee data. I use Google Voice to send messages, pictures, and that app can be configured to use WiFi as well as phone minutes.
How old is the phone? Can't activate 3g anymore and in some cases 4g can't be either, I have some 4g LTE that TF won't reactivate. All phones have to be 4g LTE with VoLTE capability.
