Reliable leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer has published a set of images showing what he believes is the next premium device from OnePlus, the 9 Pro. The only confirmed spec so far is as follows:

6.7 inch curved display with hole-punch selfie cam

Though the design is apparently finalized some details, like the rear-facing camera array, may change. The only other known detail about this device is its release date, March of 2021. Check back then, I guess, to see if he was right.

When I first came across this I presumed yet another @onleaks collab, but I was wrong; Indian tech site 91mobiles did up this full CAD render of Huawei's 2020 flagship all on their own:

Here I am still getting acquainted with my late-2019 OnePlus 7T, while prolific leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer (aka @OnLeaks) has already produced renders for a trio of new OnePluses due next year:



OnePlus 8 - punch-hole selfie cam on a 6.5 inch curved display.



OnePlus 8 Pro - punch-hole selfie cam on a curved 6.65 inch display.



OnePlus 8 Lite - punch-hole selfie cam on a flat 6.4 or 6.5 inch display.

These renders were supposedly output directly from CAD files, and have been confirmed by an insider at OnePlus. I'm not entirely sure what to make of them—I'm all for ditching the pop-up selfie cam but I would have expected the 2019 trend of stove-top camera cutouts on the back to continue, if only as a design and manufacturing efficiency.

Steve Hemmerstoffer—aka @OnLeaks on Twitter—has once again teamed up with the Indian tech blog Pricebaba to show off a second batch of renders claimed to be this fall's Pixel 4, in this case the XL version.

The last round of leaks were all about what's derisively being referred to as the stovetop rear camera assembly (also coming to this year's iPhones, by the way); this time around it's all about the bezels. Before 2017 and the iPhone X they would have been totally fine, but in this dawning age of under-screen selfie cams the fourth-gen Pixel XL is looking more than a bit dated.

Pixel purists likely won't care, however, and if you count yourself among them then you'll want to check out that first link below.

I seem to have missed last month's leak of the Motorola One Vision, so here's another One: the Motorola One Action, leaked late last week by Indian tech site 91mobiles in collaboration with... nobody?

If you haven't figured it out from the name, the Moto One line runs Android One software, promising 3 years of security updates, 2 years of OS updates and prohibiting any bloatware from the handset manufacturer. Somewhat curiously, Moto's Android One devices (due to launch this fall) run on Samsung Exynos processors rather than Snapdragon ones. But considering that they're not intended for North American markets it kind of makes sense.

Still interested? Specs for the Moto One Action are rumoured to be as follows:

Twitter leaker Steve H. McFly (@OnLeaks) has teamed up with yet another Indian tech site (PriceBaba) for some renders of what they're claiming is the Pixel 4, not expected to be officially announced until Q3 of this year.

At first glance the renders don't actually seem to reveal much—at least not beyond the enormous camera cutout on the back. But according to Android Police, what's missing is also of interest—namely a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner on the back or any evidence of stereo speakers on the front. There's also no audio jack, so fans of such things should maybe hold out for the Pixel 4a?

In terms of specs the Pixel 4 is expected to run on a Snapdragon 855 and might ship with more RAM this year, up to 6 GB. More information at the links immediately below.

Twitter leaker Steve H. McFly—aka @OnLeaks—has once again teamed up with Indian tech blog 91mobiles to give us an early look at what they're claiming is the Samsung Galaxy Note10. Shame about that forehead and chin.

Rumoured specs are as follows:

German tech blog WinFuture has published what they say are official press renders of the OnePlus 7 Pro, due for an official unveiling next week. Some kid on Twitter managed to remove the watermarks, so I'm posting those instead.



And here it is! Haters of the notch, myself included, will appreciate the clean lines up top, and the bottom bezel is all but gone. This is probably the closest you can get to a bezel-less phone without folding the screen under itself along its bottom edge, à la iPhone X.



The rumoured triple camera setup seems to be confirmed; the regular OnePlus 7 will also have a 48 megapixel sensor this year, but a third lens system on the Pro will supposedly enable 3x optical zoom. Also, this new colour is called nebula blue.



The other available colour will be apparently called mirror grey. Notable specs for the Pro are expected to be as follows:

Quad HD+ Super AMOLED display, 90 Hz refresh rate
Snapdragon 855 processor
Triple rear cameras - prime, telephoto, wide

In today's morning briefing you can find leaked retail packaging and pricing information for the forthcoming mid-ranged Pixel 3a and 3a XL, widely expected to make their début at Google I/O next week. Huawei's forthcoming P30 Pro is expected to have a monster camera setup—not only will it have the requisite-for-2019 40 megapixel sensor, but also a 10x zoom, via a clever idea first demonstrated by OPPO at MWC in 2017:

Last June I posted what was basically a fan render of the iconic Moto Razr, re-imagined as a foldable phone. Now, some nine months later, it seems like that flight of fancy wasn't so far off.

Dang it... Based on an earlier leak I was looking forward to this year's OnePlus phones being manual sliders, like the Mi Mix 3. But now, according to respected leaker Steve H. McFly (aka @OnLeaks), that doesn't appear to be the case. His latest renders of the OnePlus 7, published to the Indian site Pricebaba, show what appears to be a motorized pop-out selfie cam, similar to the Vivo V15 Pro.

It makes sense given that OnePlus and Vivo are related via their parent company, BBK Electronics. And if a motor is going to fail I suppose I'd rather it be just the selfie cam instead of the entire camera assembly, as on the Oppo Find X. I was just really hoping for a manual slider, is all... something to remind me of the old Nokia Nseries.

Also expected for the OnePlus 7 (and likely the 7T that will follow later in the year) is a Snapdragon 855 processor, a larger 6.5 inch screen and a third camera sensor on the back, with an as-yet unknown purpose. For more angles, plus a 360-degree video render, visit the links immediately below.

Steve Hemmerstoffer, aka @OnLeaks, is confident that this will be the triple camera setup on the 2019 iPhone when it's released later this year. Additional renders—and rumours—have been published in a collab with an Indian tech site called CompareRaja:

Additional (and unverified) media for this version can be seen on another Indian site called Digit. Since Steve doesn't publish this stuff to his own domain I can only surmise that there's some ad revenue sharing going on here, so take all this with a grain of salt.

Samsung's 10th anniversary Galaxy phones are due to make their début in less than a month, and German site AllAboutSamsung seems to have managed a bit of a scoop: publishing detailed photos of two of the S10 lineup's three phones.

As a reminder, here's what we're expecting in the S10 product portfolio:

Galaxy S10 E (5.8 inch display)
Galaxy S10 (6.1 inch display)
Galaxy S10+ (6.4 inch display)

There are also rumours of a fourth model with a 5G modem of some sort, but the photos immediately below show prototypes for the S10 and S10+ only.



All three S10 models will ship with "hole punch" displays, with the plus-sized phone getting a larger cut-out to accommodate dual selfie cams.



On the back you'll notice tri-camera setups and the absence of any fingerprint readers—that's because the S10 and S10+ will have them under their displays. The cheaper S10E will house a hardware sensor on the side of its chassis.



Now here's some welcome news: bucking an industry-wide trend, both the S10 and S10+ will include headphone jacks. Kudos for that!

Tom's Guide has assembled some interesting details about Samsung's 2019 flagship, not the least of which is this render from Dutch tech blog Let's Go Digital. Can't see the selfie cam? Check the top-left corner; it's under the display glass!

There will apparently be at least three variants of the device:

SM-G975x - 6.44 inch display, ultrasonic fingerprint reader
SM-G973x - 5.8 inch display, ultrasonic fingerprint reader
SM-G970x - 5.8 inch display, fingerprint reader embedded in power button

US-bound versions of the device are expected to ship with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8150 processor, while international versions will likely be powered by the Exynos 9820. Available colours at launch will be black, green, white and yellow, with additional colours and gradients to follow. Nothing yet about the audio jack, unfortunately.

I know what you're thinking and yes, it's the same Russian site that leaked what turned out to be legit photos of the Pixel 3 XL last August. Now, barely three months later, they've got photos of what they're claiming is a new Pixel variant; codenamed "Sargo", everybody seems to be calling it the Pixel 3 Lite.

And yes, that is indeed a headphone jack along the phone's top edge. Other notable specs are reported to be as follows:

Android Police speculates that the processor—also found in Oppo's R17, for example—means that it's intended for Asia and Europe only. Unlike North America, where the Pixel's main competition bears an Apple logo and also doesn't come with an audio jack, there are plenty of Xiaomi and similar devices across the Near and Far East that do.

With Samsung's forthcoming update to Android 9 Pie comes a new policy on themes downloaded from their theme store: users will only be able to trial a free theme on their devices for up to fourteen days.

Yes, you read that correctly... free themes will be automatically deleted from Samsung devices running Android Pie after two weeks.

Still don't believe me? Here's proof, in the form of a screen grab from PhoneArena:



I can think of exactly one reason why Samsung would want to do this. They must be trying to purge free themes from their store altogether, presumably so that they can then take a cut of the paid ones. No other explanation makes sense.

Fortunately (I guess?) Android Pie is still a ways off; the first public beta for Germany, South Korea and U.S. markets will be available for download "later this month".
