Not every new phone ordered from TF and automatically added to your account has AAL points given.
TF has great difficulty giving everyone an identical experience.
Just to stir some more info into the thread:
I ordered 2 iPhone 11's on Sunday.
I did it with a rewards code while logged in, and I'm pretty sure one of the phone #'s was showing for an upgrade as I checked to see if any additional discounts would add. (At the time I was thinking of not doing an AAL)
Both phones are now showing as inactive on the account with no corresponding rewards points pending.
I did 2 AALs' in 2022, 1 in 2021 & 2 in 2020 for a total of 5 AAL's in that account.
There are currently 3 active phones in the account.
Thinking of removing the 11's from the account and trying to do AAL's when they arrive just to see what happens...

This is what happened with my last two orders while logged in. I removed the lines, had chat add them, and the points showed up immediately. They have now vested and been redeemed. Neither account had ever had more than one other AAL so that wasn't a factor in why points didn't go pending immediately.
And to show how unpredictable they are: When I changed devices to a Tracfone iPhone 11 that had been unlocked, the AAL points showed as pending, even though I activated with a transfer of my current service and there was only one line in the account. As expected, they disappeared on Day 61, but still odd that the system saw the transfer of service as adding a line.
I migrated from TF ATT to VZW on a line and got 7k points for a new line -- everyone told me it would disappear on day 61, but instead it vested. Sometimes there's a bank error in your favor because this bank has no idea what the heck they are doing.
I did the same and it's due to vest on February 5th Hope it does... I used the SIM they sent me plus a brand new phone. Mine was 10k.. I never got the free plan they promised and never persued it.
Sent from my SM-S908U using HoFo mobile app
I added a new phone as a new line and TF gave me 500 points, which didn't seem to correspond to anything. But then I looked at the "earn points" page, which had said "7000 points" yesterday - and today it says 500....!? (EDIT: This is from the iOS app)

Boom! Hammer down. So they killing the program step by step.
You are correct. I did an experiment. Took a bucket line with over a year of service. Added a $20 unlimited T&T plan with 2GB. When I first did the refill, nothing immediately changed. Then I saw the service date increase by a month. Then after a few more minutes, I did a refresh and I saw this:
When you click the "See Carryover Balance" button, this appears:
It does appear that it gives two months of unlimited talk & text when doing this as you stated
Let us know what happens after 3/26. On two lines, one only had the data for a month and the other got it for two months. On my phone, it flipped back. So using your images, after a month the main screen would show the buckets of 2898 min, 3460 text, and 2.75GB and start using those buckets including the paygo data. The carryover will show the remainder of the 2GB from the unlimited plan, which will just sit there, unless reactivated with another unlimited plan.
On my husband's line, that's what happened the first time. Because he had quite a bit of data, I added another unlimited plan to flip the balances back. Then, after another month, I decided it wasn't worth keeping the unlimited plan. The second time the data from his unlimited plan moved to carryover balance, he continued to use that data until it expired, instead of the data in his bucket. Calls and texts did come out of the buckets so it was only the data that continued for 60 days.
Like tomseys, we have avoided unlimited plans after a couple of bad experiences.
Now that the new SE2 is down to $159 (I feel like it was $189 or something before), I ordered one with a $50 reward code. Good deal since no plan required. I was going to do a refurb XR + plan but prefer new since I plan to keep or gift this one. It shipped quickly and arrived with no issues.
Castrol EDGE 0W-20 is my drug of choice.
Primary: iPhone 13 Pro (T-Mobile & AT&T); Galaxy S21+ (Verizon)
Mobile Broadband: Franklin T10 LTE hotspot (5GB for $8.50) / iPad mini 6 5G (unlimited 5G data)
