    Exclamation OFFICIAL: Tracfone/Net10 Phone Deals

Just what the title says. Seems like a pretty good price on this phone, I have not seen it listed lower. the LG 800 is 29.99, but I think you can get it cheaper w/minutes on ebay, still a reasonable price if you just want to grab and run.

I think there should be an official "deals" thread like in the VM forum?

Is this an online or in-store price?

Well I just happen to see it on line and on the web page it shows Ship or Store pick up, my store shows 1 so I assume it is either. The detailed description is messed up as it mentions Net10, but the Item header and Item number are Tracfone.

It`s expensive because it has the slide out qwerty keyboard.
    Edge data speeds.

Well, it is not as expensive as 59.99 or 49.99 now is it. It is also not expensive if you don't want a minuscule qwerty like the 390G or the 840G's minuscule virtual qwerty that is only part time qwerty and where data/browsing on TF is lacking, limited and expensive anyway.
It is a Decent feature phone w/TMFL that has a stretched out qwerty that makes calling and texting simple. My wife has Samsung Restore which is very similar to the 425G that works great and she likes it.
Curious as to what you're sporting?

I`m not pushing any phone, just informing. It may go unconsidered if the person doesn`t understand its value.

The Tracfone LG 505C is $90. Now THAT'S expensive. And no wifi, no 3G, no anything. And very small. As if designed for tweens.

Nice phone! Not much difference between the two as far as features and IMO it is too short, the 425G is a 1/2"+ longer and that goes a long ways as far as easy key board use. I will say that for some reason I thought the 425G was listed as 3G?

Why all these mini phones from TF anyway?

All I was trying to point out is that the S425G @39.99 is the cheapest I have seen it and thought I would simply pass that along. Maybe someone was thinking about getting one? It would be nice if shopcelldeals also offered it in a bundle, if they did I would probably get one.

You should certainly know if it has 3G. Apparently Tracfone does NOT want anyone else to know. It is not listed anywhere I can find and in the large main picture for the tutorials you see a big E (edge data speed).

    Samsung shows:

    Data Speed HSPDA

    Wiki:
High-Speed Downlink Packet Access (HSDPA) is an enhanced 3G (third generation) mobile telephony communications protocol in the High-Speed Packet Access (HSPA) family, also dubbed 3.5G, 3G+ or turbo 3G, which allows networks based on Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (UMTS) to have higher data transfer speeds and capacity. Current HSDPA deployments support down-link speeds of up to 42 Mbit/s. Further speed increases are available with HSPA+, which provides speeds of up to 337 Mbit/s with Release 11 of the 3GPP standards.[1]

This phone is actually pretty darn nice, touchscreen too. I might just get one and see if the qwerty will work for me. Heck @ $45 w/600 minutes it is hard to go wrong, except that it is CDMA and I am in GSM territory. I know, I know it can be done, so please lets not go off on that tangent, lol.

Just a kind note and moderator approved:
Please limit discussion to deals only. Posts not mentioning a new deal but discussing a deal are fine. Please no posts of phone reviews, comments about whether or not you like a phone, etc, etc. There are many who use this thread to look only at what deals are available, and that's what it is specifically for. Other threads exist for reviews, complaints, pros vs. cons of phones and devices. (Borrowed from martin_j001)
