SERVE.com is AMEX similar to Bluebird.

My old account with five sub-cards - like virtual, but also physical, easy to cancel & replace, can use any names great for kids to use

only charges $1/mo when inactive, free cash topups at CVS etc, instant pulls from my bank debits, easy

Bluebird also has sub-cards and no monthly fee. Since it is from American Express some places won't take them. That is more small B&M stores than online.

The sub-cards allow you to deposit a specific amount to them so that number can't be used for any more than that. You can protect a larger balance in the main card from being used.

Just now noticing this thread. I've been using a De-Googled OS on my Google Pixels for the last few years called GrapheneOS. It's built with privacy and security in mind. It lets you do some things you can't normally do on Android phones like disable the sensors permission. If you install Google Play services on it, it runs them in a sandbox as a normal app as opposed to a privileged app. After installing sandboxed Google Play services, I've noticed zero compromises. It basically runs as any other Android phone but with a bit more control. Installing Google Play Services on it is completely optional, and plenty of other apps through alternative apps stores like FDroid and Aurora work just fine.

It's only officially supported on Google Pixel phones because of the high security requirements, but it's super easy to install if you follow the instructions on their website and use their web installer.

It's not gonna help the OP. He was looking for feature phones, which don't have any Google services to begin with. The title of this thread is misguided and misleading.

The best option for the OP is an older iPhone with 4G.

E foundation cells degoogled phones or try the rob braxman store. Braxman is a privacy centric YouTuber that sells used aosp phones that have been wiped of google spyware. I’ve bought two phones from him in the past an original pixel and last year I the pixel 4 xl. Both are degoogled and work well. He teaches all kinds of strategies in being more privacy centric.

Like I said in my earlier reply, the title of this post is misguided and misleading. The OP has no clue. He wasn't even looking for a smartphone, just a dumb / feature phone. They usually don't have any Google stuff on them. So there is nothing to "deGoogle".

It's not nice to rob the braxman store.
