Recommendations needed: phone, great camera, $50-150

I'm looking for recommendations for a phone to be used with Google voice and a Verizon prepaid hot spot that has a great camera something significantly better than an iphone 8). Approximate price range $50-150. Willing to consider phones slightly outside of this range if they're really worth it. I think he's intrigued by the Pixel, but looking for any and all recommendations. Thanks!

I don't think a <$150 phone exists with a great camera. IIRC, Pixels have pretty good cameras, but that is no where close to $150 for a new one.

Well, two years ago I bought a Moto G Stylus that retailed for $200 for about $120 after rebates. It has a very nice camera (IMO).

I'm hoping to find something comparable or better.

I am satisfied with the camera in my Moto G7 Power. I don't have an illusion that it is as good as an iPhone 14 or top of the line Samsung.

If you are satisfied with a Moto camera, there's your answer.

Me too from Amazon. It was $300 retail minus $100 Amazon discount. Then TF threw in another $100 off for buying a 1 month TF plan. It's factory unlocked direct from Moto. I paid $132 otd. It's my daily. Really like it.
