    Refill question

I missed my refill date. I realize I won't get my airtime restored, but how long do I have to refill it (30-60 days?) and what's the likelihood of losing the number?

If I'll lose the number I may as well let it expire.

at&t and its MVNO's would allow 60 days before deactivating the number. I imagine that's still the case, even for H2O.

If so, you should still be able to see your number with a balance of $0 if you have registered an account with them online and it's been less than 30 day past expiration.

If it's been just few days since your balance expired, try talking to a CS for the chance of having it restored (as a one-time courtesy) if you put some money in it right away. It's worked for me with other prepaid providers in the past.YMMV.

Thanks for the info. It's only been a few days.

Yes, the terms definitely said 30 days grace until the phone number is cancelled if the refill date is missed. I lost all of my balance (about $50?) but I made the payment in time to save the number.

A friend of mine let her balance expire for more than 60 days. She was able to get the number back because h2o had not yet assigned it to a new customer.
