I've been getting slower speeds on my Mobley SIM and noticed the Video Management "feature" is turned on in my AT&T account. I click to turn it off and the page refreshes and when it comes back up it still enabled. Is there no way to turn that off on Mobley accounts? I still have decent data usage but the slower speeds really suck. Thanks.
This is the excuse the website gives me when I turn off the feature:
"We cannot save your changes at the moment. Please try again!"
Phone: Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, Verizon Unlimited
The OP should try using the hotspot feature on their phone if it is available with their carrier and phone.
Just another day in paradise.....
Update. I logged into my account on my Verizon phone and was able to turn off that setting on there. I threw the Mobley SIM into my unlocked backup phone for testing and I was streaming a Youtube video in 1080p no problem.
I just hope I didn't screw up the Mobley line SIM by throwing it into a phone. Guess I'll find out soon enough. I'm waiting on a better antenna to arrive this weekend to attach to my Mofi. I'll put the Mobley SIM back into it once it arrives so I can fine tune the signal on the Mofi. The T-Mo SIM in there now is working as well but if I can back to having unlimited internet for$23/month, I'm gonna do just that. Thanks.
I have my two lines in ZTE. MF288 routers.
My daughter uses one for work from home and one at her boyfriend's house where there is no internet service.
Both are used between 100-200 GB a month and before that I used one four our home internet using around 800-1000 GB.
We have not noticed a slowdown on either line.
There is no restriction or trickery using the AT&T Connected Car Unlimited SIM in other hotspot devices.
It sounds like the question was will it get 5G in a 5G hotspot. AFAIK, the answer is no.
I don't recall if they are prohibited from being used in phones.
I have one of these things.
