WIFI calling on Moto G Stylus 5 G

I have a Moto G Stylus 5G 2021 (XT2131-1) that has been active on the original Visible unlimited plan with WIFI calling working. Last week I upgraded to Visible+ and WIFI calling has not worked since. I have spent many hours and many chat sessions with Visible. Countless restarts, airplane mode on/off and network resets with no results. Their second level support has sent me emails with different steps to try. No joy.
When I try to activate WIFI calling it takes me to a greyed out Update emergency address screen with the message " This may take a few moments" The screen times out after 30-40 seconds with the message "Cant update at this time. Try again later." I have tried updating on WIFI and while connected over the air.

Additionally this phone is shown as non compatible by Visible on line checker but a chat agent told me it was when I ordered the updated SIM. Phone was purchased directly from Motorola.

Has anyone had any success using this phone on Visible+ WIFI calling?

Yes Android 12 latest as this AM S2RES32.29-16-1-10-6, Security patch 2/1/2023

I think XT2131-4 is the VZW branded variant needed to get WiFi calling

XT2131DL may also, specific ROM for the Tracfone family providers

XT2131-1 is factory unlocked

XT2131-3 is AT&T

Mine is the XT2131-1 factory unlocked directly from Motorola. And WIFI calling worked with this phone on the old Visible unlimited plan.

It must be on the Visible end. Did they manually set the e911 address since trying to do it yourself times out?
Note that the VZW branded variant is not needed to get WiFi calling. My factory unlocked Moto G 5G works just fine on US Mobile VZW mvno.

Did you try setting to wifi preferred and turning on airplane mode?

Are you saying you expect WiFi calling to continue to work on the new system, just because it did on the old on?

Not how this stuff works.

The factory unlocked directly from Motorola variants are famous, often do NOT work with WiFi calling on VZW or (especially) ATT.

There is no fix when that is the case, other than giving up on WiFi calling, buying a different phone, or moving to a provider that uses the TMO network.

Yes I kinda did expect that if it worked on the old plan it would work on the new plan. Would not most people expect that. Visible sells a number of Moto phones that I would assume will work with WIFI calling, why is this an exception? Visible assures me they can make it work but after 6 long chat sessions I am getting doubtful. I am waiting to hear back from the second level support tech I chatted with today. He says I will get an email within 24 hours.

Sorry, if your phone was indeed the VZW-specific model and you purchased it from Visible then yes you should have that expectation.

But buying the factory-unlocked model elsewhere then it is a roll of the dice best case, or certain not to work in others.
