    T-Mobile offering 256 GB Pixel 8 storage?

The Pixel 8 phone series will debut for sale in a few days. I'm wondering if anyone has read if T-Mobile is going to offer the larger storage sizes instead of the too-small 128GB this time? Storage options are much more important than color options, as after all the color of the phone is going to be covered up by a case anyway.

Only having the tiny storage option always makes me tempted to get the phone from someone else who does offer it.

Hmmm...I'm still using my 3a XL, and 64GB is still plenty for me. I guess it just depends on individual needs.

To answer your question, I actually think it's almost always better to buy an unlocked phone independent of the carrier, and use a lower-cost MVNO, which almost always results in saving money.

But if you really need a postpaid carrier plan, and you're paying for it anyway, and if there's some cost incentive to buy a phone from the postpaid carrier, then I guess you're kind of stuck, unless you just want to give up any savings incentive.

I agree with you Boz1 but I just bought the Metro Moto G Stylus 5G 2023 for $40 otd & it will unlock in 6 months to use on Visible. Nobody really knows if it'll work on Visible until Metro unlocks it. But $40 for a $300 phone is worth the chance for me. In my case an already activated Visible SIM should work. But again until people's phones start unlocking ~5-6 months from now nobody can be certain.
Visible (by Verizon) receive $20 off the first month. Please use referral code: 36csHv - https://www.visible.com/get/?36csHv

I will be Judged on how I helped the poor, sick & others in need; strangers & loved ones alike.

    My plans:
    Visible (Verizon) UTTD $25/mo
    T-Mobile Gold Rewards $10yr exp 12.25.23
    FreedomPop (AT&T) Target $4.99 once 100 TTD a month each 29th

Did you check that the Metro variant of Moto G Stylus 5G 2023, which is designed to work on TMO RF bands

will even work at all on VZW ?

And overlap of 5G bands id pretty rare on these midrange

maybe different on Moto Edge+ (2023) like iPhone, Pixels and S23.

It has almost all the bands. Maybe missing 1 or 2. Visible is pretty good like that as long as the phone has the bands & have an already activated SIM it works.

I haven't found an announcement from them on that yet. You may have to wait until they put it on their website to see if they'll carry the 256GB.

They didn't offer it. That and other reasons made me to get the phone directly from the manufacturer this time.
