    Samsung S22 ultra Unlocked Carrier Software?

    Hi guys I have just aquired my 2nd s22 ultra and I use cricket. My original s22 ultra was At&t branded and has owed bill and works perfect for cricket. The one I just have is 2x the storage and is factory unlocked! So I switched to it. I put a att Sim in the phone and it changed from Verizon to At&t perfect then I pop in my cricket Sim and it should had been go to go from there but nope. The stupid phone restarted and changed software to match the Sim. It still shows att when it powers on but my 5G display at top of the phone looks different. Says 5G with a square box around it! Which that didn't bother me but now I noticed I no longer picking up 5G+ anymore. I picked it up no problem using my att locked s22 ultra. So I know it will work on 5g+ and it's something to do with the changing of the software when I pop in my cricket Sim. My ? Is is there anyway to disable that carrier switching on the phone so I can pop in a att Sim and get it on att software and pop in my cricket Sim and use the phone? I know it will work cause when I put in my cricket Sim after doing att it works for about 10 secs then prompts me to restart the phone.

    Don't forget that originally, no MVNO/prepaid plans allowed 5G with their plans and some may not yet.

    O pretty much what I need to know is is there a way to keep the phone from switching carrier software when I put different Sim cards in the phone. Like I need the phone to stay on Att software when I pop in a Sim regardless if it's a cricket Sim. T-mobile Sim or mint mobile ect...

    this is the message that prompts when i put in a different sim card then it changes stuff in the phone.

    It won't let me upload the pic but when the phone is running Att shovel ware and I pop in cricket Sim card the phone pops up this message

    "New mobile network available Restart to connect to your new service provider's network."




    Then the phone forces me to restart and after the phone restarts I no longer get 5g+ as to before it restarted I could pickup 5g+ no problem.

    also on my old s22 ultra its locked to att so when i pop in my cricket sim card it just works shows 5g in bold black letters and i will pickup 5g and 5g+ with no issues.

    I have an unlocked base S22 bought from Fi. In Settings-->Connections-->Mobile networks-->Network operators, here's the default setting. Have you tried turning it off and see if that makes a difference?
